ok so I left my old place back in january and I'm still getting the freaking eletrical bills! Mind you I don't even live in the same city let alone the same COUNTRY anymore :whip: :whip:
The lazy room mate never contacted the electrical company. I've tried to change it from here but basically he has to take care of changing the name cause I can't do it.
I want to seem him a very angry letter. Yes I am sending it no doubt about that ;)

I have kept receiving the electric bills from 'The Illuminating Company' ever since I have left.
Your account number is 11 00 XX XXX X X.
I have tried to contact them by mail with minor success.
As of today there is a bill of 852.24 $ which they are trying to bill to me.
Most of that is from previous unpaid billing which you have yet to pay.
I had paid the bills in full before my departure and I will not be held responsible if your service gets shut off. So this is somewhat an order for you to switch the service in your name as you should have months ago!!
It is your duty to take responsibility for that bill!

| watch out for this on your credit report...i'm guessing it won't get taken care of so if you have to provide evidence to get it removed then just do that... |

nah i'd put something more like:
This is the ____ time i've contacted you about getting this correction made and my patience is running out. If you don't resolve this soon i'm going to have no choice, but to take matters into my own hands through the small claims courts. |
