| tiesto in philly wasn't so bad last year, neither was his avalon set 6/2004 where ppl could've died at avalon. but man, all it takes for me is one massive trainwreck and my mood is sour for the night |

I was listening to an interview with Tiesto on one of Sirius's dance channels and he was talking about how he uses 100% cd's now, no more vinyl and he blames his mixing skills and trainwrecking on the fact that it's much harder to mix with cd's than vinyl and thats why he trainwrecks so much:haha: |
i think we should at least be happy that he has finally realized that he trainwrecks a lot. isnt the first step accepting that you have a problem? he only has another 11 to go...
in any event i dont know if i am going to make this show...after his crobar one in june im kinda weary of paying a lot of money to see him. |

| Honestly< when i go to the club, i dont really care if any dj ''trainwrecks'' every two seconds or what, all I care about is that the music selection is good and that me and my friends have a good time.I think all of us go out to have a good time, not to pay attention to how many times he s up during his set or what?!! Right or wrong???????!! |

although i dont like when dj's trainwreck either, i have to sort of agree with roblovestrance, in the end its all about the music not how many times someone s up, i mean everyone messes up at one point ... |

| So, is this the first time a DJ has done this? Like play on one night, then the very next night, play again? And at the same venue no less? quite interesting. I wonder if they plan on doing a Tiesto...combo  |

tiesto's plans for a monthly residency at crobar fell through, so I guess the back-to-back nights were a way to combine his previous two gigs at crobar this year (Feb. was 18+; June was 21+). Apparently, however, he likes crobar and will be back in the near future for more events. Incidentally, Serge Devant looks to be opening and closing both sets.
The overkill of b2b nights tends to make this all a fairly ridiculous idea, although I'm sure both nights will be packed to the gills.
Oh, and to the people who complained about a single bad transition "ruining" their entire night, get over yourselves ffs -- didn't know we had such exacting taskmasters on this board... |
