Im asking this out of sheer fustration :D

Major problems with Audiojelly everytime. Their Catalogue is great, probably the best available online. Their server-side software however, is truely bo**ocks. Major problems with downloading tracks on their website in IE6 and Mozilla due to some buggy coding, Zips dont work half the time, tracks finish downloading half way through.

My latest gripe is when Audiojelly gives me a 192kbps link for Markus Schulz - Without You Near (G&D Remix), when i purchased 320kbps. Then, the link for the Coldharbour mix is invalid (zero kbs file), and previously the download for Probspot - Blueberry cut off at 6mins (10min track) :wtf: A good music selection is being wasted by some terrible coding on their website.

Is Beatport any different?

I cant actually use Beatport, as their rather limited in their payment methods, seemingly orientated towards the US market, with Credit Cards only accepted. That makes good business sense of course, limiting your customers is always a good market strategy.

I only use Beatport ATM as they're far far cheaper than Audiojelly.

Exchange rate owns

I also use beatport. Its been awesome so far with no complications, just hook up a credit card to it and youre off.

Just out of curiosity, what methods of payment does audiojelly accept that beatport does not?

Beatport kicks ass. :)

I love beatport because I can buy wav files and it only takes one day for it to be delivered to my home. :D

lol Beatport may indeed kick ass, but only those with a Credit Card can access, when they can easily open themselves to WorldPay :conf:

Maybe they would have to pay to use that system which would increase the price of the tracks.

Beatport is pretty great. I hate the flash interface though, just pretty annoying.

I've found Audiojelly to be really. The selection especially for me. I think they're pretty good for trance but not for house.

But really... just by the vinyl.

odd you're having so many problems with audiojelly... i use it quite often and my only gripe is the navigation... i hate purchasing a track, hitting continue shopping, just to be brought to the same page i was at before with no links to the other songs on the same release...

anyway, e-mail ricky... he's SUPER nice and will help you resolve everything... top producer and top business man! i'm sure he'd love to hear your criticisms too...
