Well, my views on sexual relations have nothing to do with whether or not I choose to partake in the ingestion of illicit substances from time to time. |
Since staying on topic was never an expected norm in CORe, I felt like making a humorous remark about the glorification of excessive illicit substance use that takes place around here. I guess the lack of smileys didn't make that perfectly clear. |

Now it's my view. Honstly, I think he should use one. Go wrapless later, but def. not soo early, jesus christ. He hasn't seen a bloodtest, he's just going by her word that she dosn't have any STDs and that she will take her pills. Case 1:
"Oh jeff I love you"
/runs away
*sucking sounds*
lol. He has no idea what she does cause they live fkin far. I dunno, too much sketch factor. Plus the pills are not 100 percent, but neither is a condom. I'd like to see some re-assurance, rather then just some words. The word 'love' gets thrown around so much with kids these days.. It's ed.
Jeff if you are reading this (which I know you are)
Bag it, oh and, you will get aids and die! ;p |

alright the guy r5a was refferring to was in fact me, you can ask r5a for confirmation but i felt it was time i shared my side of the story
#1 alot of you have been saying "at 15 you should definately get an std checked" this statement is both stupid and illogical becase 15 year olds are generally less experienced and have less of a chance of having an std.
#2 I know her very well and am confident that if she had an std she would let me know
#3 shes not a walking disease bag as she seems to be portrayed as here
#4 this is not some buddy relationship where we never talk there is genuine affection i am ing my girlfriend without a condom not some hooker i met on the street theres a difference
thats it i guess

that's why i always carry a condom in my wallet. |
bad idea, body heat can break down the condom and make if more prone to breakage....
as for the 15 year old, use something. doesnt matter if she has been on the pill, at that age, you dont know of they are even working properly for her and if she is taking them properly. and who knows if she is clean, they should both be adult about it and get tested 2gether. |

What we're saying is that that level of trust and maturity between two 15 year olds is rare.

Even if you can trust her, neither of you know for sure if you have one unless you get tested. STDs can be transmitted via sex, but can be picked up other ways too (in other words, a virgin could have an STD and not know about it).

This is the cor, what do you expect? (OK so you're new...blame your mate). But like I said above, unless you get tested, you really are entirely clueless as to whether either of you are clean.

Glad you can make that distinction :p
Seriously though, don't be fooled in to thinking that STD's are something that happen to a certain type of person. They're not.
I can see why you would think that this would be safe as you know and trust each, and she's using birth control. You've bothered to read this thread and talk to your mate about it, so you're paying attention to others. You're hell bent on having unprotected sex, and the more people tell you not to, the more you're determined that you will. But you need to be fully informed about what you're doing, so just get tested. Like you said, chances are you'll both be fine - but a lot of healthy adult couples get tested every 6 months or so. Doing so would mean that you can relax about this, and probably bring closer as you're making informed decisions together.
POINT: get tested (my preference), or use a condom. |
