Well, i happen to be from Singapore & yes..i be attending the gig at zouk disco tonight. Pardon me for asking, coz i dun even know how the hell we could record a live gig unless it is simult. broadcast on radio, which again dun happen here in mine country. Anyway, i'm just glad tht finally able to see Timo Maas live, coz to tell u the truth, Singapore trance music scene suxx...big time manz.! When u mentioned tiestos, armin or marco v, ppl think u r toking abt some undiscovered footballers..LOL..& the so called big dance clubs like Zouk dun even bothered inviting these Djs for a gig! So, to all u blessed trance ppl in uk/europe, take care & enjoy the music.!

I mentioned Tiesto in Zouk forum once and got trashed because of its "euro-cheese" and "we do not need that in zouk" kinda attitude....

WTF?

Anyway, Singapore is a nice place, so is zouk....just that some people are so ignorant about genres of music.

Sigh! I miss laksa, I'm from S'pore...and I am drunk... hahaha

Ok, just back from the Dave Seaman/Timo Maas gig, & well, to put it, the whole gig suxx., zero trance, mostly progressive & house. I would not complain if Timo put out a gig like what he did in Cream last december, but hell man, he just keep pumping progressive/house, no energy at all. Dave seaman is worse, keep pumping repetitive progressive music & some techno numbers, nay...suxx big time. Really regret going to it. I guess Singapore as a whole suxx in term of trance music, not a single place i been to play Tiesto or Armin. Very , very disappointed with SG trance scene. Lastly, all these is mine own opinion, others may hold different..:D

Sigh! Daniel, sad to hear that you did not enjoy yourself....I though Seaman should be really good...

Singapore should really bring on some good Trance Djs.

Anyway, how did PVD come to S'pore? I mean, who are the promoters that brought him in? Maybe the same promoters can actually get Armin or Tiesto over to S'pore? That will be so cool...:D

I'll be seeing Tiesto for the third time next Sat, 24th...WOOHOO!!!!!!

I think it'll be a blast if Tiesto actually hit S'pore. That guy is just awesome! Never fail to please. Will post up the pics after the party....till then!

ciao

Well to put it blandly, Singaporeans r simply anti-trance & pro-progressive. I dun think big names like zouk will bring in a major trance act for the few minority here. Instead, it continue to bring in the usual cast of Progressive/House/Techno kind of Djs' to satisfy the majority here, which , to me, is these ppl r sadly missing the big thing in dance music rite now, & tht is trance. Well, LExicon, u r a hell of lucky fellow, able to see Tiesto 3 times, huh...i can't even smell his fart..LOL. So enjoy man, & nice toking to u, fellow trance addict countryman..:)

as well as white christmas (feat Ian Ossia ,Hybrid Sound system, Maurice, Dj Cher Etc...)

i dont think yesturday was "that" bad..
just like i was disappointed with carl cox the other time he came down. but they did played a couple of really good tracks. (dunno the name though).

Take my advise. get yrself high at around 11pm (one for one; meaning, u buy one drink get the other free.)
once u are high, any music is good .. :D
