so i see its by fads with most of you guys ? thats sad .. and about minimal being the latest craze ?? well , i have been listening to this for over 3 years . so no its not the latest craze . even had dennis rogers (from the 112 crew) play my b-day party 2 years ago . |

| Minimal has had its success in Ibiza after years of been played. Thanks to the Nights from Sven and Ricardo with their own in Ibiza as well. Accepted, is a style where listeners from all genres blend. Not really new though, just going through that a bigger acceptance process I guess. Hell my friends were all about minimal about 3 years ago I never fitted it though. Ive heard Josh Wink stuff before, hence not my cup of tea really, but if you bring me Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos I would have showed up. The players in the minimal field say the sound has grown out, which is in fact true, but to take over I doubt, in my humble opinion. Unless it blends in more with the more popular sounds.. hell who knows what can happen in EDM. Minimal Techno has always been around in Germany too. |
