No one asked you to feel sorry for anyone.
However, feeling sorry is a basic human attribute called compassion, something you are severely lacking. Millions die in Africa from starvation and disease because they aren't a modern society like Europe and North America. Maybe when they ask for real help and not just aid they will make some progress into entering the 18th century. |

Hardcore Trancer, I cannot get enough of you I must admit.
You realize that when the American Empire (as you put it) collapses, China will take over and probably run all the world's resources dry?
At the moment, it's a well known fact that the USA has a far better track record on the environment than China... Who's exhausting it's resources so fast they need the rest of the world's to fuel their gigantic economic machine.
Also, the United States does not roll over protesters against the war in Iraq in Washington. I do believe the Chinese cannot say the same, for they rolled over many of their own citizens with tanks in Tieneman Square.
ALL THAT BEING SAID... The Chinese have a different view on human rights than Western Europe and North America do, perhaps it's something we should avoid worrying about or perhaps it's better that the Americans are the world leaders at the moment.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think any lives needed to be lost in Iraq and I truly believe the American government made a WRONG decision in invading Iraq, but for the most part I can honestly say I would rather the Americans be the ones leading the world rather than the Chinese for instance.

I notice you reffer to the American government as "The Americans". This means that everything the American GOVERNMENT does is an EXACT reflection upon what the American people REALLY WANT? Are you insane? Are you trying to tell me when Paul Martin had the motion passed to legalize Same Sex Marriage here in Canada that EVERY Canadian or even the MAJORITY of Canadians FIRMLY believed in it?
No my friend, I think a lot of us DISAGREED with it, and A LOT MORE OF US, simply didn't understand or know much about the issue, as is the case with the justification (through the war on terrorism) for the war in Iraq... Most Americans believed the government when they said Saddam probably had WMDs, therefore they either A) Didn't care that much or B) WANTED to go to war... or C) DIDNT want to go to war.
Don't pretend every American is extremely greedy and wants to war everyone and steal their resources, that's generalization (Border-line discrimination) and as a Canadian that should NOT be one of your values, as it is agaisnt the law. |

obviously you havent been here long enough.my hate is directly toward the government and the rednecks that support the current government.

Believe me Iam well aware of the fact that there are many many Americans with brians that are well agaisnt Bush.Sadly there wasnt enough of those people in the south to vote in the election. :(

The only reason as to why we hear so much about the Hurricanes here in the US is because most media outlets are controlled by ted Turner, Rupert Murdoch, and disney. They are American so they control the media and only show what is important.
You see the Chinese empire will be the worlds superpower if the Americans do not improve when it comes to education. The Chinese have more than 300Mill labor force so they can afford to have lower wages than the rest of the world; Americans however can not.
