ok so as all of you know not much of a trance scene exists here in the USA. yesterday on a popular radio station here in Detroit where they play britney spears, and all that pop , we were driving somewhere and i was drifting off. as i was falling asleep i hear ian van dahl-castles in the sky come on the radio. this is the FIRST time i have head that song anywhere near here. i just found it funny because they made some cheesy radio edit and it shows how far behind we are here in america. i laughed, but of course i still listened to it.

Yeah...it is funny. I remember when Darude- Sandstorm hit the radio waves back during THIS summer...when I knew about that song LAST summer.

It's sad really. We are quite behind. But some poeple must play the music, because theres a ton of it in the CD stores. It is getting a little better though. In the backreound of every advertisement and movie, and MTV special and everything. Try going into an Abercrombie and Fitch store, they paly it there too, Its a fad to play trance in the bacground of stuff. One day it will go away, then the people serois about it will show, then I think we might have some real trance on the radio. Until then, the DJ's here are the stupidest people you weill ever talk to, and they are very slow.
