Actually, they're both 2-hour shows, it's just that John Digweed always does the first half of Kiss 100.
I wouldn't say either one is better... they're different.
Essential Mix showcases the latest trends and hot items. Kiss 100 showcases [potentially] emerging trends and unique styles.
I'm not a DJ, but say if I were to do a PA, I'd rather it be on the Essential Mix simply because it's going to be heard by 100 times as many people. But I certainly wouldn't pass up the chance to do a Kiss 100 gig and pick Digweed's brain either. :cool:

| Kiss 100...you're not put up on such a pedestal, and you can shine in the dark without everyone knowing. Sure, the spotlight is nice, but it's a-ok to rock the out of a show that isn't the most renowned in the EDM world. |

Are you kidding me?!?
Do you know how many tourists I would attract to Toronto if I had testicles the size of a Buick?
I would even do a nightclub tour - showcasing my goods inside the club - which would be a very positive thing for the club scene. |

I got Sasha & Hernan live @ moonpark a few years ago which is still one of my favorites. So I give Metro dance thumbs up.
But if I had to pick I'd say Essential Mix... most of the best sets I've ever heard have been EMs. Above & Beyond, High Contrast, JZ, Sander K just to name a few. |

Def'n Essential Mix.
Any of you remember the old Triple J Mixes from a few years back. Those were pretty decent sets and held some level of prestige. I think it was a radio show out of Scotland ? Anyways ya Essential Mix all the way. |
