Today is the last day, so if you're interested, hurry up.

I might check it out later today. I got their flyer and it looks like the production equipment they're selling is mostly end-of-line (but unfortunately not vintage) stuff - might be worth checking out anyway though, it's not like I have anything else to do this afternoon...

hmmm... I am tempted to buy that Numark dual cd player

you guys ever heard of eBay?

sh1t peeps, the amount of hardware available on there for like half price is ridiculous... if I only had the money and time to play with it.

The advantage of stores like L&M is that you can actually see and experiment with what you intend to buy. I can't stress enough how important that was for me with the gear I've got so far. Too many people buy things that they *hear* or *think* are good for them without really doing the appropriate research.

Now sure, you could go to a store just to try the stuff out and then look for it on eBay, but there are many other reasons to buy it in a store. First of all, it's usually new, not used; that means it's got a warranty on it. It also means there's no risk of getting damaged merchandise or getting just plain scammed.

I'm not worried about credit card security or anything, but for me there are still far too many risks involved with shopping online (especially online auctions). Unless you really spend A LOT of time doing research, you're probably going to waste more money on bad purchases than you would on paying retail prices in stores.

Besides, some of the stuff they're selling is well below half price.
