No doubt the best tune was the Dancin' Sandman mashup :eyes:

This mix isnt all you guys make it hyped up to be. Even that Sandman mashup wasnt all that great, after about 2 mins into the track, the chick in the background just got annoying. The tracks seem to be all over the place, and the mixing as average at best. However, I did like it and it gets a 7.5/10.

Favorite track: Buy Now - Sold

I liked:
Steve Lawler - That Sound (Steve Angello & Sebastion Ingrosso Remix)
Steve Angello & Sebastion Ingrosso - 82/83
Erick Morillo, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, & Jose Nuņez - Dancin' (Angello & Ingrosso's Metallica Is Dancin Booty)

have you seen them live??

I like them but i can't see whats REALLY so special like so many of you are saying.... there are lots of stuff in there which is really cheesy imo.. like the Axwell & Ingrosso remix of the Ernesto vs Bastian tune.. its pure to be honest... then again... i like the pads and filtered synths more than their trademarked electro/acid basses which i dont like at all.

imo the first 5 tunes or so were the best ones, then the rest was ok.. (except a few which i didnt like at all)
I have never seen them play out, and i'm sure its more fun on the dancefloor though... I guess thats what they are really made for.

for the record i was talking about live on the radio, although i'm sure the heavy bass destroys dance floors

Well, even if it wasnt live, I heard it for the first time from start to finish, hype or not, this mix was not all that.

I'm a huge fan of both Angello and Ingrosso but after listening to this EM i have to say it was a bit below par indeed. There was very little structure to the set and the track positioning was all wrong. It's like they weren't trying.. I mean it's the Essential Mix ffs.. you expect something special. I preferred their Ibiza 4am CD that came free with Mixmag to be honest.

All and all it was too housey for me, I was looking for some dirtier and techier tracks like Buy Now and was left disappointed :nervous:
