It's good to see tho that some major stores are doing something taboo, perhaps one day parents and kids can talk about sex in canada :toothless

I can talk about sex with my parents.. hell.. sometimes my mom tells me MORE than I really need to know.. my brothers even tell me more than I need to know..

I think parents should educate kids about sex.. and be able to discuss it openly.. there is nothing wrong with that at all!

Again, we repeat, do not attempt this experiment with an actual penis -- severe injury may result.

My chick friends will also often ask how I 'get up the nerve' to actually buy porn magazines. This question seriously almost baffles me. I can't understand why it would be an embarassing or 'difficult' situation.

Probably the same reason some people find it embarrassing to buy condoms, or funny when other people buy them. Hell, I'd start trying on different kinds right in the aisle if I wasn't so sure I'd get arrested for it.

Or the guys with girlfriends who are all bashful about buying feminine hygiene products. Do it loudly and proudly - those pads and leg razors on the cashier's desk mean you're walking home to hot steamy sex, while everyone else in the store is going to home to Survivor and Chunky Soup!

never had to do that, but i wouldnt care. like buying a toothbrush, but its something else.

i used to tease my buddy clinty in waterloo when we were at the grocery store in the conestoga mall.

its me, him and davey, and im shopping down the isles, yelling, "clinty, whut kinda of pads did you say you're sister watned again? these...!!?!??" while holding them up and waving them around.

me and dave were totally doing it to be a jerk and embarrass him, but we found it so funny!!! LOL

do they play with vibrators together?? I sure as hell would hope not!

Wal-Mart is suppose to be family based.. since when do family stores sell sex toys?? When was the last time you saw a couple of parents take a family trip to the Stag Shop??

It isn't that I am being a prude about it.. I just think that not every place needs to be selling these products.

im sick of everything being "family based" on one hand and then the same arm of society tells me that "family" isnt all about the traditional nuclear family.

So which is it?

And id like to know what percentage of society has a member of the family under 13 in it. Based on my street alone id assume that number is very deep into the minority.

I find it funny how the swede finds our discussion amusing. I remember in argentina the big story about janet's boob wasnt that you could see the pasty on tv. The big story was how they were laughing at americans for freaking out about nothing. Also noteworthy is that everytime they showed it there was no censorship or little black bar covering the boob, even on the 6 oclock news

It's gonna be hella embarassing putting one of those on the conveyor belt in front of the cashier, with about 20 people behind seeing exactly what you are buying.

same experience as buying condoms or lube!

Not exactly. Condoms at least imply sex with two people, whereas a sex toy more implies a lonely night with you, the toy, and a bottle of wine.

Eh. Sex addicted people do have an addiction, perhaps even worse than being on drugs. Rather comical, but it is a known issue.
