i'm actually paying a premium to drink imported Miller Genuine Draft here in Toronto, which costs x1.5 domestic Canadian beer... EH! |

Yes, but in canada i believe Molson is partners with and actually brews Miller products. They do import heineken, corona, fosters and others. Not 100% on this but that's what i was led to believe. All i could find with a quick search was THIS and more importantly THIS. The latter link of the two states that MGD is brewed in vancuver with a lisence from miller. I was also under the impression that not much beer from the US was imported to canada at all, and that even budwieser is brewed there (through labatt?). Any one know different for sure.
and yes beer from that damned beer store is just marked up in price because they have the monopoly on beer. |
