Some of my mates got me an Xbox for my b'day yesterday, so I need some games for it.
I have Need for Speed Underground and will be getting Top Spin, and maybe Driv3r.
Any recommendations? I'm sorta looking for driving/racing games, preferably more simulation than arcade, and not wanky Japcrap cars. Only milk and juice comes in two litres.;)
Whats the best rally game and F1 game? Is there a decent sports car racing game (by that I mean like Le Mans sportscars), Forza Motorsport maybe, or Project Gotham 2?
Also shootemup games, sorta like Splinter Cell etc
And whats the best cricket game and AFL game?
Also, any other recommendations?

| meet up with your friends, smash them on the head with your new xbox and when they wake up tell them they should have got you a ps2 instead. then you can play gran turismo 4. which sounds exactly what you are looking for hehe. |

Conker Live & Reloaded. Is an absolute top game on Xbox atm. Combined with Xbox-Live and combat mode gives Counter Strike a run for its money! Blood is everywhere and splattered to your screen if you get too close! Plus there is an underground Night Club in one of the stages where they play a kick ass Trance song while u triyin to solve the puzzles and vomit everywhere and everyone!:stongue: :stongue: Ohh yeah and you're a squirrel...

O_o sif want a ps2, that's NOT what you want. xbox poops all over it, every way.
forza motorsport would be the racing game you're after
have a drive around the full size nurburgring :D MUCH insane fun
no f1 games on xbox (or pc) because sony got an exclusive contract with the FIA so that f1 games are ONLY available on station :( (cant remember when it expires.. but damn, I so *HATE* companies getting exclusives contracts.... damn sony, damn EA... RARARARARAR)
colin mcrae rally is pretty fun too, I dunno what doom 3 is like on xbox, but that could be good if you like that sorta game
if you like nfl, last year's espn nfl 2k5 is better than madden, including the new madden 06. |

theres the new afl game coming out - or it might even be out.
the latest ea cricket is orrite, but the old shane warne cricket still pwns them all.
other games..hmm...we have suppliers and get heaps of newies all the time, most of em are pretty - im happy playing world championship poker on the thing most of the time. (kill it too :p) |

the new afl game is out, had a quick try at the shop, didn't know what the buttons did so had no idea haha. i think the new codemasters cricket game is better than the ea one, and shane warne was great, but i reckon the one on snes is still the best. i dont understand how in 2005 you can have a cricket game where the batsmen can make 2 steps left or right in the crease and thats it, while 10 years ago you could move wherever the you wanted to :conf: |
