Just be a bit careful. Make sure to get into a spot where I'm not squooshed then I can just hold on to it tight and go nuts.

AMAZING pics DAVE!!!! saw you sanding behind markus with that huge camera...what type of camera by the way??you should be a photographer, those pics look they belong in a magazine-ultra clean! good stuff!!!

It's an entry level pro SLR...a Digital Rebel PRO XT (aka 350D).

I think picture quality out of most pro SLR cameras these days are pretty much on par. Only a couple things here and there that anyone ever seems to mention...big thing being the crop factor (of which mine has one of 1.6).

I've even had a photographer for AP say that the bigger, $5000 Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II he has is really only noticeably better in crop factor (he uses both the EOS-1DsM2 and the same camera I do) and in the end isn't even really worth it in most cases...but, he has one because its more impressive to people when they see it because it's just bigger. :-p

The build quality of my camera certain isn't as god as the high end Canon/Nikon/camera since it's not all heavy duty metal, but it's sturdy enough nonetheless.

Beyond that, I think the lens is largely the reason behind the clear pics...I love the lens I bought! Have seen tons of people w/ the same camera as me but using either stock lens (which is crap) or other lenses and their stuff just never seems as shap or colorful.

i knew you resized. but, i also thought you played with the color. if you get nice shots like this without post-processing, this is one awesome camera.

Any chance you could host the full size pics or whatever else. I would love to get as high quality as I can and keep these for momentos and to remember such an awsome day.

Hey Dave when are your Pictures coming out!?
DaveT
Each picture in its original size is about 2.5MB to 3.5MB in size...and that's JPEGs...no way I'm hosting those. I'd like to keep my free server space. :-p

Anyhow, I am batch resizing and putting the copy notices on the shots as I type this.

dave, sorry bugging you. do you use your custom settings or factory predefined settings for different shots? thanks.

OK, here you go

They are basically all from the Spundae/Skills float and afterparty. Probably should have gotten more variety, but I was having too much fun dancing, jumping around like a kid, and then resting my aching feet at various points.
