yes there is a difference. but alot of people get them mixed up when naming rips or talking about the song or whatever. so it gets kinda confusing. this is the way it works (at least the way i think it works lol):
a mix is when, for example, an artist makes a few different versions of a song. like club mix, ambient mix, whatever mix, at the time of the original release.
a remix is when another artist produces a different version of the song.
and theres also "remake", but i think thats when the original artist does another mix after the original release, like "blah blah blah 2001 remake"
thats how i understood it, i might be wrong tho heheh
