I was thinking about getting it but $500 is a lot of money. Is it worth it.

Tranceaddict does not support filesharing!

so please do not make any threads asking where to get them or how to get them or else i shall leave you to the mercy of the TA massive and they shall take it upon themselves to flame you whenever they can.
your name will go down in the TA archives so that you will be remebered and when people meet you in real life, they shall know who to urinate on and then brand you as a leecher who has no concern for the artists that make the tunes we all listen to

Let this be a warning to you

thank you

I would say if your gonna use it professionally...for sure!

question for those who use Ableton ...

Is it easy to learn the basics of it ?

I've been thinking about getting it just so i can mix my own SUPER CLEAN mixed cd's but dont wanna spend too much time trying to figure out how to use it.

If you are a student, you can get it the academic verion for $230. The academic version is exactly like the $500 version.

Ableton is super easy to learn and the UI is intuitive. Although I think you're wasting your money if you're using it to make super clean mixes. You'll have to buy a controller and do meticulous edits.

As everyone who uses it states...to master it isn't as easy as it looks or sound. It can even kind of cheat for you with lining up the bpm and it can even try to beat match for you, but the beatmatch is usually off so you have to work on that yourself just like with regular decks and what not.

I've been using it purely in software, but I really do wish I had a proper mixer to go along with it...go through all the processes in mixing when using software only allows for a lot of errors to be had and when something is off it can take you quite a few seconds to go through all the possibilities of what's wrong.
