If you could earn a living as an "artist" what would you want to be? (pg. 3)

Well at least you had fun.

No I didn't take any pictures... no ing way was I risking smashing all my equipment... my body is all broken, I'm pretty sure I have a bruised rib or two... I can't imagine what my equipment would look like. I'd cry. |

The reason why I wanted to go was mostly to take pictars. The lineup just didn't appeal to me because it was mostly trance, and I would have had to have gotten really trashed instead (not that that's necessarily a bad thing).
But oh well.
Well when I get some money you'll show me around SF right? (I just hate asking my parents for money because I'm too proud or something).
Then we can go to the gay pride parade.
:gsmile:
And I abuse my equipment all the time. I have some shots that simply would not have been possible without some potential to damage my equipment.
In Yellowstone for example there are all these thermal vents that release gasses that can damage your equipment, and I've taken photos in the rain, etc.
Totally worth it.
I once even ran out on all these tediously balanced logs that were floating over a marsh while getting absolutely savaged by mosquitoes. If I had fallen off the logs I would have certainly destroyed my camera equipment and probably hurt myself as well.
I just figure that it's usually worth it in the end, but I probably would not take my digital body in the rain without protection.
That's the one thing I don't think I would do.
Oh, and I got this awesome backpack the other week that is excellent for hiking through both nature or the urban landscape.
It's called the Tamrac Expedition 5.
I found one used for 100 bux at a local camera shop, and I would highly recommend it.
Best of luck at your school, and never lose your passion. |

I would argue that a sport like soccer is almost like an improvised dance competition. That art can easily be found in the way the teams interact with one another, and in how the player interacts with the ball.
Go Pele! Go Bicycle Kick :D |
