2. Yes everything is gone.
3. Yes, most of album #4 is missing.
4. No he didn't have any off-site backups.
5. Yes, the mods have been deleting posts about it.
6. Yes, the guilty will be caught.

| id imagine proffessional synths are pretty valuable, so it would be worth it. but i'd think they would go through the house for other things (BT's gotta have a nice house). that really sucks tho they should atleast anonymously return his music if they have a heart. |

Flesh. "Jan Johnston's" song is produced by BT while he was at Perfecto. I don't know why, I don't know how, but things got nasty and he left... and Oakie kept the song...funny, cuz in LA on the 31st BT was havin' a gig (I don't know if the one on the 29th in Seattle or this one will still have BT's participation, due to these events) and Oakie is there too...
As for the house, it's his studio that has been robbed... which is not necessarily in the house... whether it is Blue House on a Hill (where most of the stuff is generaly recorded) whether somewhere else, I supose Nettwerk owns it, BT has just the stuff in it... or maybe not... he never had problems with it before.
now, it's hard to say who's behind it. if there are fans, it's kinda fuked up, cuz they prolly already destroyed his equipment and his work already... but, there's also the story about BT working with Britney... and there is a remote possibility Brit's producin' house did it.. well, not in person, but anyway...
they all are just supositions at this moment, so I guess it is b y far not very appropriate to start blaming people...
I just hope he gets his stuff back... It is impossible for me to describe what I would feel if he'd get out of music, because he is one of the most impressive producers...

Damn man....you're all worried about how his songs got destroyed, at least he has that stuff in his HEAD you can reproduce that, you know, if you got a melody it sticks with ya.
But do you know how much time/effort/money goes into setting up a studio?? a Pro one can be worth well over $100 000
AAAH synths gone...imagine being a producer and not having any gear anymore....to me that sounds much worse than all his work in progress gone...

First of all, I think that the thieves were ppl who knew BT very well to know that he doesn't back up his tracks!
To all the ppl who say "The thieves should burn in hell!":
If the ppl who did that got only a tiny-winy bit of a brain they will never tell it anyone (cuz on bt's site is said that they will talk) and they will never sell the equipment and the tracks to anyone! I think at the moment they are standing in front of bt's mixer, treating it with an axe to destroy it till there are no big pieces left. Then they will throw the destroyed equipment into a river or into a deep forest, so that nobody would find it again. If that crime was planned so well that it all worked, they will not be discovered or caught ... at least that's what I think. |
