Ive been searching this board quite throughly for informations regarding how to well for lack of a better word "produce" bass when i say this i dont mean basslines or formation of notes against the kick. What I want to know is how people go about layering basslines together. How the eq them for clarity. Also stuff like compression and reverb etc. How they tweak there envelopes? A bass line that i would like to try and produce would be similar to the one found in the classic trance track:

Veracocha - Carte Blanche.

If anybody could help me or if we could pool together a great thread for techniques that would be fantastic.

P.S dont flame me if the information is already about i have been searching.

I'm just another n00b at this producing thing but I think you should, filter it then add some reverb and some eq, maybe compession too. It sound realy raw. It also sounds like a realy low ocvtave. Play a saw on 3rd or 4th octave and them play with the knobs 'till you get what you like.

So your saying just use a filter like the ones found in logic? or use my synths filters? Thanks for the reply...
