Any west coast dates for Tiesto in November?

I noticed that Tiesto is doing quite a few US dates in November.
Is there any west coast dates slated? |

| Nope. Chances are Godskitchen is basically restricting him from out here to assist in the NYE in Vegas attendance. He hasn't played in SF since December 2004 and only once this year in SoCa....so demand for him between those two areas is probably pretty high. |

Figured so. I understand the reasoning but I disagree with it.
It’s just that Las Vegas is such a unique market and NYE is unique evening.
I would venture any November dates in San Francisco or San Diego would have no impact on gate receipts for NYE in Vegas. The last several years Tiesto has made two San Diego appearances per year (weekday shows except one) and all have been at capacity.
PVD’s management has not taken that line of reasoning. I don't see PVD's Las Vegas appearance 12/30 cannibalizing his Los Angeles NYE show just like his July appearance did not affect his recent sold out Mayan appearance
I am confident both PVD shows will sell out. |

Tiesto on NYE has to fill up an arena, not a club. Playing between two different clubs is one thing...but when the crowd will have to largely be based on true Tiesto fans filling up an arena and all be 21+, one way to help with ticket sales is to find a way to get people from other nearby major cities to come...and thus, a promoter/organizer can setup the contract or have influence on the DJ to not play in certain markets near that city...and if a promoter is throwing an event in Vegas and is putting a whole lot of money in it and needs a lot of money in return via ticket sales and stuff, this method to raise attendance could be used.
Don't get me wrong, I want to see Tiesto real bad...even though he's not as good as he used to be. I'll always try to support him the best I can...:)
Above & Beyond were going to play in LA @ Heaven mid/late October 2004 and in SF during Halloween weekend at Skills 8,000 party called Popsicle. Heaven had even announced the date but it was all called off because the contract A&B signed with Skills made it so they couldn't play anywhere in California (might have included other states, too) from mid-October through mid-November. Or that's what the big ole story was last year, at least. |

My mistake.
I was thinking Tiesto was appearing @ Ice. Forgot about the TIC extravaganza.
I see the logic and would probably require the same if I was putting up the money for such a large event.
Unfortunately this leaves the rest of us on the west coast with no appearances this year by Tiesto. And no west coast club appearances at all.
Does that make "long term business sense?" :confused: |

Yeah, he's doing the same thing he did in LA last summer...Saturday 21+, Sunday 18+.
If that weekend was any indicator for how his NYC gigs could be, the Sunday night (18+) had by far a better vibe by all accounts...oddly :p

All I know is the 18+ crowd is gonna be packing alot of 'supplements' which make for a really lame night because of cracked out people all over the place. |

Yes I will agree to that, one of the best nights of my life! 18+ on a sunday I think all the "kids" will be sleeping for school :p I just showed up 2 hrs later to english with a big smile! |
