just got this new promo cd-r which contains 5 new filterheadz tunes...
the tracks are:
1. Filterheadz - Cartagena
2. Filterheadz - Santiago
3. Filterheadz - Medellin
4. Filterheadz - Lima
5. Filterheadz - The Way
the tracks are very techy, with the exception of the way which is more on the house side and for me is the best track on the cd...
sounds very different than the stuff we're use to hear from filterheadz but good nonetheless! |

| Armin played "Cartagena" on an old ASOT (180s or 190s) and it sounded...different....to say the least. Interested in hearing ewhat they've come up with though. |

maybe its just me but a few of these tracks sound a bit electro-ish.
catagena is a beauty. |

you can definitely note the electro influence, but like i posted above, i think they're more like techno... |

| a&b played Cartagena this week. pretty good and i think i'll have to check out the rest now. a nice little ep by the look of it! :D |

| I expected less than I got from this release. Categena is class, but the rest are still fairly good. |

WOW Catagena is one BAD ASS TUNE :crazy: :crazy:
and Santiago and Medellin are almost in the same league :crazy: :crazy:
Don't like Lima though and The Way isnt anything special either.
First 3 tracks make up for it though :cool: |

well, i always thought that techhouse was something else...
this simply sounds like pure techno...
but now a days seems like everyone has their own meaning for genre classification, so doesnt make much of a difference! |

yeah, the other tracks are starting to grow on me. these would sound sick on the dancefloor |
