Kreativ Sounds released MALWaves Combi, a free update with presets
for the new Reason 3 instrument, the Combinator also new presets for the
Malström.
Here is the Combinator backdrop for ANALOGER:
This new refill version features:
- 32 Combinators - these outstanding patches were build around 4 Combinator synthesizers based on original ideas: Analoger, Evolva, KeyStroke, Vocal;
- 392 Malström Instruments - wide range of original sounds: ambient textures, motion waves, analogues, keys, dream pads, physical models, vocal and choirs.
- 22 RV7000 reverb patches;
- all presets contain the ModWheel info for extra control and sounds;

oops i didnt know you made it, otherwise i wouldnt be so harsh! anyway i just listened the mp3 samples quickly, so i could be mistaken. |

Question
How does one get that grindy trance sound g im trying to do it using a
Malstrom i know i can get it to work using a malstrom or even a Subtractor !

You should use the analog waveforms from oscilators (square (4, 16), sine, triangle or saw (4, 16), juno) ... pass them through Shape with a small Quant or Noise setting and through the LP12 filters.
If you could give me an audio example of what you looking for ... I may try to do something.

| I dont have one at hand but, g its a neat sound grrrrrrrrrrrid shhh nice distiortion applied onto it as well maybe some can help ? |

Well try the presets I put online, I think it's kinda that way ...
You could try to change the the Shaper to Saturate or Clip for more distorsion ;) |
