yay ill know someone who will be going i dont know yet i dont have a place to stay .. r hostels good there . im going to geneva and amsterdam is my standby so i figured id go for the cup . but will by my judges pass |

I'll be staying at the Flying Pig Palace It's fairly close to the cup. Hostels are supposed to be good there. |

I stayed at the quentin england in Amsterdam the last 2 years and it is pretty reasonable.. plus you get private facitilites.. no sharing showers or rooms with others!
You are really close to the Leidseplein and it is about 10 minutes by tram to Central Station or Dam Square... the staff is really friendly there as well :)

it may be more expensive than other hostels though...but I was willing to pay to have my own room... |

One of my best friends was a judge one year. He said it was totally worth it!!
Each day, you check in at 4:20 at the Milkweg (where Tiesto Magik 6 was recorded) and they give you the weed of the day and your scorecard. Plus, you go around to all the different coffee shops and sample and score lots of different weed.
Can you belive a weed entered by David Suzuki won the top award before....Good old BC bud :D
If I had the cash, I'd be there too ;) |

flying pig hostel is pretty sweet!! you walk in, the place reeeeeeks of weed haha, everyone's chilling in the lounge area smoking at the bar and in this chill little area with pillows and stuff, LOADS of friendly people there, deff good times :D
kinda funny tho, while i was there, we'd wake and bake like mofos, the management had to put up a sign "due to reception room smokeup, we request you smoke in the green room before 5pm. POTHEADS!" hahah |
