This neighborhood eatery has won a crowd of devoted customers with its laid-back atmosphere and consistently delicious food. Lunch is the busiest time of day. That's when young Hollywood insiders and incognito WB stars crowd the restaurant's breezy patio area.
The Food
It's all about the grilled meats and Brazilian spices here. Tender chicken breasts or snapper filets are marinated in a citrus blend and accompanied by sweet, gooey plantains, black beans, rice and yucca flour. These meals are true belt busters. The pesto verde pizza is another delightful treat--robust pesto sauce and a smattering of goat cheese play beautifully off the sun-dried tomatoes. For a lighter meal, opt for the Bossa salad, a cobb salad enlivened by Gorgonzola. Finish Latin-style with a café con leche and a buttery coconut flan. |
