Haters?

Well i've only been DJ'ing for a year and better then the locals here in town. At least thats what the scene says here in town. And now the other DJ's are all talking for no reason. They treat the thing as a respect issue, such as since they have been DJing for 3 years opposed to my 1, I cant possible be as good as them is their thought. I've battled them at party's and even do a lil 3 deck mixing if the situation occurs just to show them what I got, and still every time I turn around I hear talking.

Have you guys ever had this problem. If someone is better then me I walk up to them and straight up tell them what a good set, but these guys just hate on everything i remotley do.

lol so much hate for idaho. I dont like it either. Why our whole scene has to go to SLC for a taste of something remotely decent.

Dude, it's part of the scene, and it sucks, but it doesn't go away... Someone is always going to hate on you... Sometimes, somebody else who you think sucks balls is going to get the gig you are dying to get, just because of who they know... And you know what? Someday you may be the single most talented DJ in the world, but you know what else? You'll probably still be in Idaho, doing it for yourself... the "business" of DJ'ing can be a fickle bitch...

It's not easy to make it to the top in any scene... even in Idaho :p

So I guess all I'm saying is, don't listen to other people's bull if you know it's not right, keep your own god damn mouth shut because you're above talking , work hard, and most of all do it for yourself, because if you aren't getting an insane amount of joy out of it just doing it for you, you probably don't have the desire to deal with all the extra bull that comes along with this quote en quote "scene."

...even in Idaho.

things like that sometime happen when you get a click of locals. your either in their group or your not. if you read the interview i have at the bottom of my sig you'll see some similar points that your making in it. of course you have to be from baltimore to fully get what im talking about in the interview but you can make some comparisons.youll just have to work on getting gigs and crushing em behind the decks. hey, why dont you put a mix up of your stuff so we can hear it?
