Can anyone suggest a setting or plugin for winamp that will yield me the best sound quality results for most or all of my music?
I really don't have an ear for this kind of thing so any help is appreciated. |

I like the one of myself with Dumonde a tad more :p |

How do you use these plug-ins?
Ive had winamp for years but never tried to implment anything like this into? can some break it down,how to install,wot to install,wot buttons to use etc etc

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll check out the plugins mentioned.
Could someone also reccomend a general EQ setting that sounds great all around on almost any track (regardless of genre)? I don't care about extreme bass, I prefer sound quality. |

go to winamp.com, find the plugin you want, download it, run the installer, go to options -> preferences in your winamp, head to the plugin section and go to the coresponding subsection (ie. input, visualization, dsp, etc), then simple highlight the one in the list you want and then it's selected. note that some plugins will give you buttons to configure the plugin after it's highlighted in the list, they should be located next to the close button for the winamp preferences. |
