Your PIN allows you to msg other people that have BB's within 2 seconds instead of email.. it is a faster way of msg'ing.. that is all.. direct..

Think of it as being along the lines of SMS... although it doesn't have a maximum number of characters like SMS does.

Basically a PIN is a message that is sent directly from one Blackberry device to another through RIM's network, bypassing e-mail servers, etc.

That stinks, I just looked at the Rogers site. Their definition of 'unlimited' is 25MB.

Fido has a 25MB plan, and THEN another plan above it, 'unlimited'.

$50/month

On a site note, this makes me sick:

Anytime Minutes 900
Night & Weekend Minutes Unlimited
Mobile to Mobile minutes Unlimited
Long distance $0.00
Roaming charges $0.00
Additional minutes 40¢/minute
One-time activation fee $36.00
Contract Length 2 years

Cingular 900 w/Rollover, $59.99/month.

Canadians get screwed with Mobile service.

Yep.

You can also use the custom BlackBerry Messenger application but you can only talk to other BlackBerry users.

Yes it has an interface. you will appear online as if you were on your own PC.

After talking to Fido - they have no Blackberry plan available. The above plan is data only and does not include BES or MDS (thus none of the Blackberry specific functions).
