SO! I just got back from BANG! and lemme tell you, it was AMAZING!
Me and my friends got a late start on account of waiting for this one kid to show up, so I mean, we missed some earlier acts, but nothing too huge. The people I did get to see were:
Edgar V.-What can I say? Man is great! He tore it up, threw down a couple of old school tracks. Also threw down "Without you near", and I don't remember much else, but he was awesome....although, he didn't work the crowd too well...meh.
Then we stayed for ATB. As soon as he gets on and puts his first winyl down, you could hear that the audio "popped". He looked so pissed haha. He got on the mic and said sorry and for us to wait a minute or two. Few minutes later:
"apparently the turntables aren't working, and nobody thought to check them before the show. I have some CD's with me, but you won't be able to hear any ATB since it's all on my records. Thanks again to technical for this one."
WHAAAT?! We were all bummed. ATB without any ATB? We stayed halfway through the first track and then left for what would be a much better call....sweedish...freaking...house.
Axwell, Angelo and Ingrosso did a 3 way, 3 hour tag team set. HOLY-MY-MOSES, it was amazing. Best 3 hours of the night by far. I-I can't even recall everything they played but it was amazing, crowd went nuts, they did an insane rendition of "smack my bitch up" among other treats. Some freaking idiot e-tard jumped on stage 3 times, eventually he ran off somewhere. Grrr. I don't mind people rolling untill they start bumping into me without saying "sorry". Gah. But yeah, this set...was amazing.
Jen Lasher-WOW! Uh, screw Baby Ann, this chick rules on the decks! She danced her ass off the whole time and worked the crowd like nobody else...except maybe sander k. I heart Jen Lasher.
Bennassi-Great set! Too bad some chick that was VIP and dancing on stage bumped his decks and made a cd skip twice ;) idiots. Bennassi had a great, what the look when that happened. Nobody seemed to care though. At this point however, the tent was too full for my liking, no room to dance at all. Grr. My friends and I left after this pretty much because part of our group was tired...wha wha wha. Later we found out that they wouldn't have minded staying? wtf?
Anyways, if anyone finds pictures from this event, or hell, even a recorded set, PLEASE let me know! Hope everyone that went had as good of a time as I did.
