Good news, fellow trance addicts.
I have just got word that this NYE there will be a big party with all thse DJ's, in Toronto. All 6 of them have abandoned any previous plans for NYE parties this year, to play in a TRANCE AWARENESS party, sponsored by Red Bull.
Plans are Dundas Street will be closed down in the downtown vicinity allowing the biggiest party ever to occur this NYE, with all 6 of these brilliant DJ's. The party starts at noon, and continues to 6am the next day. DJ's will be performing extra long sets for the TRANCE AWARENESS FUNT.
Due to Red Bull sponsoring the party, alcohol will NOT be served, and party goers may only drink Red Bull. However, due to that, it means there will be lots of fun to do while trancing out. Red Bull will be having race cars, Grumman aircraft, skateboarders (with a HALFPIPE!), street races featuring Red Bull cars, a swimming tank, dunk tank, and pie eating contest. There will also be a stunt DEVIL jumping form First Canadian Place, a 72 floor skyscraper. They will temporarly paint the building with massive Red Bull advertisemens. Spokespersons will be tossing out FREE cans of Red Bull and FREE CD's out the 42'n floor windows.
In conjunction with Red Bull, these 6 massive DJ's have produced a single tune they will play when the clock strikes midnight. Carl Cox will breakdance on stilts while the tune plays, as we ring in the new year.
As a special treat to represent Canadian/Toronto gay pride, the boys will be in costume, AS THE VILLAGE PEOPLE!
As for now, that is all the information I can give you. Keep an eye out on CP24 for the Canadians during Breakfast Television within the coming weeks for more info. Kevin Frankish, Liza Fromer and Jennifer Valentyne will be hosting/MCing this massive event. Americans may tune into CNN for updated information.
As requested, there will be no flash photography allowed. Recently, Armin went under the knife for plastic surgery, and unfortunatly had an accident, rendering him perminently blue the rest of his life. Markus has also become a buddhist and is requesting no photography aswell, as he believes the camera steals ones inner peace.
