I recorded a demo mix today on my brother's mac computer. My cd burner isn't working properly so I figured I would record it and burn it from the same computer to keep things simple. I have a fair understanding of how .cue files work, and I typed one up to accompany my mix (I'll include it below). I eventually found a program called Firestarter FX that burns CD images and is mac compatible. So I entered the .cue file and hit burn, but it says that I must specify a .bin file as well. I've never had to do that on Windows. I thought it might be referring to the data file I'm trying to burn (.aiff) but it won't let me select it.
After much searching I can't find any explanation of what a .bin file is, let alone why I need one or how I create one. I urgently need help with this, as I was planning on handing these cds out tomorrow night.
