Most people do have some skill. Except that 30 million other people also have that skill. Everyone wants to be #1, but there is only one
number one.
For example, I am good at basketball and investing money but I can't play pool worth . No matter how hard I try, I can't play pool worth a goddam thing. And even though I am good at basketball, there are many people better at it than I am ( that is why I am not in the NBA right now). But if I was 3-4 inches taller I might be in the NBA. But God (or my parents however you want to look at it) didn't make me 6'5.
And I never said people should be exterminated,I just said that that the world is based on survival of the fittest, and this bird flu should be no exception. |

Why let it happen when you can prevent it from happening.. That's just flat out ignorant to me. People should just stop taking medicines and just let nature heal them.. Let's see whose the fittest your body or the illness.. I think that's really barbaric to think that way. You are coming back to a single point over and over again.. when it's pretty much proved that the world can't go on this way. Sometimes you have to go against your instincts. |

| I got sidetracked. Anyway, forgetting about survival of the fittest,I think you guys are being a little bit paranoid. If we start freaking about this bird flu nonsense then we should also start freaking out about everything else. For example, the fact that Russia's nuclear weapons are not being guarded worth . Or that hurricanes are supposedly getting worse because of the greenhouse effect. I think we should leave this crap to the people who actually know what they are doing. I am sure the good people at the Center for Disease Control have a plan. And if they don't, there is nothing any of us can do about it anyway. |
