a few Ultra questions

hi, i just recently started living in Tallahassee and plan on coming down to miami for Ultra 8 in 2006. a few questions:
1) when will they announce the date. im going to have to get a greyhound ticket and the earlier you get them the less expensive they are.
2) what are the approx times of the fest? i. when does it start/end?
3) it's not 21+ is it? i'll be 19... |

I think they normally announce the dates in november.

| It's almost always on the third saturday of March. Ultra is not 21+ but practically everything else in miami is. If you're an FSU student you might be out of luck, I think your (our) spring break is the week before the WMC. |

| Whatever u do, whateverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr u do, dont go to ultra, next year's event is gonna be more DJ's, less sets per DJ, its such a fricken waste, the parties are better, ultrafest is chuch E cheese on stage, not worth it |

Ultra tix usually go on sale December, January. Announced dates .. well I can say November.
Ultra is from aroun 11AM - 12 PM.. can vary to 1. Depending on the afterparty.
It's not 21+. but like 16 or 17+ . |

good joke. i can only come down for the weekend, and i cant get into any clubs. so it's gonna be ultra > some 18+ after party. |

| You have to be in the right mood for Ultra. You can't go in expecting to hear a phenomenal well planned out mix with plenty of buildup and all that good stuff. If you go there ready to hear some kick ass music, lie out in the sun, and watch hot girls walk by...you can't go wrong. |

| if you are going with some fun music loving friends.. willing to hear and enjoy different types of music throughout the day, under the sun, by all types of cool party people, and love to watch a huge mass of people jumping to a TUNE!.. then you should go.. if you are going to Ultra to see a DJ technically and expect a 4 hour set for each DJ.. then skip it, other then that, its all the fun. Ive been going since 2000, now IM 21, and Im still planning on going, its fun! |

| last year's was my first and I loved it. I'll be going to ultra 8 for sure as well. I want to get there much earlier this time though. |

yeah but if you werent 21+ you couldnt go downstairs to the main area. Basically, if youre not 21+ don't go to miami just for Ultra. |
