so i watched this movie tonight, and want to give a small review to those who are interested in watching this flic ...
when i first came to the theater, i had not watched the series 'the firefly', but i did know this is a sci-fi flic .. i have seen my fair share of sci-fi flics, and have a love/hate relationship with them .. there are producers that can wreck the movie with no plot, and then there are others that are beautifully created ..
i expected a lot of action, spaceships, and special fx ... welll . i got a lot more .. this movie is excellent .. the 'psychic' chic river is a babe .. :eyespop: .. and she kicks ass too .. this movie, in my opinion, had a plot, was well written, the actors and actresses interacted well with one another, contained a good number of funny scenes, and was very entertaining .. kept my mind from the watch and popcorn .. hahahahhahaa ... people may say the ending is unrealistic .. i thought so too, just to a slight edge .. but river is da woman (not da man of course .. hahaha) .. she kicks ass in this movie .. this movie contains renegades, mind controllers, and zombie like monsters ..
this is a very typical sci-fi flic .. i know people may say this movie is a rip from all the rest .. LOTR .. Final Fantasy .. harry potter .. stargate .. the matrix ... well it is, in a way .... but i don't care .. this movie is good at it's genre (sci-fi), but not the best i have ever seen . ..

p.s. to the 'firefly' lovers ... i read on the internet the series did not show the ravaers faces ... the movie did, so if you wanted to see the movie to see how the director protrayed the ravaers, this is it .. very well done, i might add ..

| now im really looking forward to watching it, last sci-fi movie i saw was AvP and i hated it, i was hoping for marines to come in with there rifles and shoot the living day light out of everything :stongue: |

I just came back from watching it. Overall good movie. Little things bugged me, like ignoring physics a lot. Sci-fi is supposed to use the laws of physics, not break them. I'm not gonna get into detail, too much to say in this regard.
7.5/10 for what it is |

| I liked it. Im a Whedon fan so to me it was like watching his TV shows because Im so used to his dialogue and scripts. |
