I can't even begin to list the stupid things I've done...
It hurts my head to think about.
However, be comforted my lil younguns - after while, you dont get bombed as easily, and when you do, the things you do dont even seem stupid anymore! |

Just, um, last week - my BF and I visited Oktoberfest in Munich for the first time. Our train from Berlin arrived at 730am, so after killing a couple of hours, we headed over to the beer tents at 10am (which is when they opened).

We sat our sleep deprived, hungry selves down at a table in an almost empty hall and ordered a couple of beers, along with a pretzel and some traditional german breakfast sausage.

Now, these are the 1L beer...and I'm not THAT big of a beer drinker...but I held my own!

So noon rolls around and the beer tent starts filling up. A couple of really nice, young german folk sat down to share our table. We had a really great time with them.
After yelling "Prost" (the german word for cheers) numerous times, taking a million stupid drunk pictures that didnt turn out...
We decided to leave to go CHECK IN to our hostel. It was 3pm. I got the brilliant idea to STEAL two of these beer glasses. Now, ladies, have you ever tried to fit two of these bad boys in your purse? It's not an easy feat. But I did it!
and then leaving the grounds, I was abruptly stopped by the POLIZEI. I was caught by german police stealing. AWESOME!
Everything after that is a complete blank. Neither of us have any recollection of navigating through Munich to the hostel, finding our baggage (which we left there), checking in, and other unmentionable actions that followed.
passed out at 6pm, woke up to puke, then went back to bed until the next day. GO TEAM! |
