I wish, too. Sorry couldn't talk long on the phone, it was loud as hell. The club's sound system is very decent, and the lights and everything else were top notch, for sure. Come Cosmic Gate, you'll see for yourself. ;)

ok u all know i have been into deep house but u know what blank and jones is the reason i still listen to trance . what a in set. (edited out of respect for edgar ...)
it was banging but not too hard. it was replete with vocals. it was just sick. old trance tracks (esp the older pvd stuff which i love)
i have to thank ardis, bruno and dj nikolas for being so cool as always
metropolis was so much better last nite than opening nite.
every room was slammed though not annoyingly so.
azucar was off the chain they had a live venezuelan concert in there and the ladies were off the hook gorgeous
so awesome to see lots of u i havent seen in ages
lextecy and tranzwhore omg so good to see u guys been over a yr at least.
lextecy bustin out with some lights and goin to school on the side platform
blank and jones are soooo damn cool i was in the booth thanks to ardis takin pics for cj for my review and they let me bring in natalia and melly mel. they played mel's request then they came down and took pics with the remaining TA's (where did the rest of u go damn wanted a huge group pic)
they gave out shirts and signed em too
oh btw metropolis was veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy happy with their sickkkkkkkk performance and want them back ASAP woot!!!!

22 hours of being awake sucks! at least i lasted till 5! which i thought is when it was going to end but then i asked my friend who's a promoter and he said they were gonna do afterhours so i was like NO!!!!
got inside like at 12:45 by sneakin in with some guys. and i hear george alvarado.. and im like... is this a dynacord sound system? cuz that was low.. but when blank and jones came on! WOW THATS A IN DYNACORD BABY! at first when they played the horn it was all weak like thats not a real horn (compared to space) but after about 3 times it really sounded good for some reason...
anyway the main reason for me saying trance is back in miami even though we got edgar v and groove eric and a couple others is because no real big club brings in trance acts other than the top 5 on the dj list... but thanks to metropolis we will finally get to hear some REAL top notch DJs like blank and jones... i told renzo i thought i would never hear them live unless it was at ultra..

All I can say is WOW!WOW!WOW!!!!!
I have not had this much fun in one night like I did last night! Doug and I have been dying to hear them play for a really long time, and we finally were able to!!! I knew they would rock, but I had no idea they were THAT good. They kept the room packed and nothing but high energy all night long! I also loved the interaction with them while they were spinning,they looked like they were having the greatest time.
I couldn't stop jumping around, even on 3 inch heels!!!!
Glad to see EVERYONE there last night, especially the ones I hadn't seen in a long time!
I can't wait until they come back again, and keep on bringing such good people, metropolis!! |

damn.... they were really fuking amazing live... i can't ever get over that! i'm sooooooo glad i went up in the dj booth haha... that just made my night PERFECT!
they were so cool and down to earth. I remember we walked in and Blank goes to bling 'Picture??'
we didn't even have to bug him! I need to see them again :whip:
these guys are def awesome and i hope they keep on getting better. Props for all their gigs from Labour of Love to Love Parade.. TO MIAMI! <3 |
