I'm wondering if anyone knows where the melody in this track is sourced from... then again, I'm just assuming that like most trance of this era the theme was lifted (as in Dragonfly, Orange Theme, and so on). Anyone know?
Anyone even remember this song? I'm sure at least a few people do... classic stuff, for sure! |

It is my all time favourite track and most likely will be so forever.
I have a copy of the original release on Blue Banana from 97, and the re-release (with the god awful updates included :nervous: ) on Everlasting from 2002.
When you say the melody, do you mean the big synths in the intro, or the the actual main riff itself?
Either way, I don't know, and like to think that the man came up with them himself :D |

Indeed! This is one of my favourite tracks, I like how "futuristic" it sounds, in my opinion anyway. The melody is so goood!! Original Version is the best. |

The orchestral bits really... all those surging emotional sounds.
For artists who usually make songs that go "bleep" and "tweet" a lot I am highly suspicious when they suddenly throw in something that shows an actual knowledge of music ;) |

True that, I can't find any sort of mention of royalties on either of my records, so he either nicked it or it was royalty free.
or he pulled a Vanilla Ice and change a few notes to get around the legalities ;) |

Aren't most of those big German trance hits from the late 90s nicked off of somewhere? I used to wonder if Nostrum was the only real batch of musicians around.
DJ Sakin - that... song with the... over-emotional stuff in it. For example. Oh I'm lazy. :toothless |
