This party totally rocked. Had to have been like 500 people out there and a lot of them were dancing. Haven't been able to play for a crowd like that in a while, and they were going totally nuts when me and I/Rok were playing. That was pretty cool, beena while since I been to a desert party. I am so worn out though, it was a bit of a journey, but totally wroth it!
I am fully aware that there were a few snags with the party. It did get started late but it was only 2 hour delay. I know cause I was looking at my watch. I know we didn't have the second area for the djs who were supposed to play in it, but they did get a second area up. I know some of the dj's didn't get to play, but the ones that did get to play I know the people hella enjoyed watching them play. I know the cops showed up at 6am but that was to tell the promoters to turn the sound down, not to leave.
Basically what it comes down to is, the party happend, a lot of people showed up, a lot of people had fun and enjoyed the djs they heard and were dancing. So that is a sucessful party in my eyes, and I am a very hard person to please when it comes to me as a party goer. |
