Long story short, there is a big oppurtunity for me and my friend to move to North Port. We will have a job when we come...etc...We've been looking at apts and now we're just waiting for answer from the person that will get us the jobs. Anyway...ive only been to Florida once, and it was jax...I liked it alot...better than dirty jersey.
The questions.
How much is the average car insurace...Im 21 and zero points
How much is a motorcycle insurance...zero points
Clubs, EDM scene...Fun time scene in Surrounding areas?
Casinos? I am a poker player...
The apts are dirt cheap...so thats good.
IF anything comes to my mind i shall ask.
Thank you so much for your patience. |

| Ok I live in Jax and south fl is a total different beast than Jax as far as night life and day life for that matter. Jax is in the bible belt and we have way and I mean way more rules b/c of it. When the superbowl was here the church was against havin all the parties and the blocking of streets for party zones. JAX SUCKS!!!!! SO fl tho.. nice.. I pay for my auto ins 70 a mth. its basic coverage and i own my car. Bike ins not sure of. |

cool, i'm a poker player too, so i can answer this one. you have 2 options for poker in FL (besides home games of course):
(1) Dog Tracks & Indian Reserves on which there are now some Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos - these are restricted to $2 limit betting, which IMO is too low and you might as well play bingo. They however also have tournaments which may be good depending on the structure.
(2) Casino cruises - these are ships that go out 3 miles offshore where they are no longer under state laws, so here you can play any limit and even no limit cash games. Only downside is you only get 3 - 5 hours of play then the ship comes back in or if you want to stop early you're stuck there til they return to port (not good when you're losing). |

I was speaking to my friends and he said the guy might give us $13-14 an hour. My friend called the guy today and he says that we will get $10....Well the 13-14 was looking better than a 10.
Whats the average rate in florida? With $10/hour + taxes is not looking to good. Job is painting apts and similar stuff...My old retail job i was getting $11.72 so im gonna take a decent cut...
How much are taxes in fl and am i gonna afford APT+Car insurance(if i dont switch from jersey) food, and bills? It looks like it might be only $1200/month which is okay, but might not be enough.
We would split the apt payments though so it will look like $250/month for the apt.
Thanks alot |
