One thing you have to appreciate about the British is that if we get even slightly intoxicated we'd start a fight with our own mother. |

yeah just find a new club I never been to one but I know if there are a bunch of drunken underage teens than quit going there. btw you shouldn't be afraid of kicking his ass if he bumps into you. Just say you warned him once and that was enough now there are no warnings just an asswhooping.
I remember this one time I was standing outside of Wendys minding my own business when this forty yr old man walked out and pushed my from behind for no reason. He had enough space to pass me but he just had to push me. Than he gets all angry and tells me "When I ing walk you get the out of my path you mother******. I should break your ing teeth for being in my way." I was just like relax pops you don't want to get hurt. But what I said to him was you bumped into me so quit acting like a ing . Than he gets all upset and makes this wierd grunt and walks up to me and pulls me from my ing shirt and than says I am going to rip your ing throat out you mother******. I was like god damnit I really hate being in these situations and this guy is like a foot taller than me. So I said hit me you ing and quit talking like a bitch. Than the guy just shook his head and said oh I ing well. And he just kept on swearing and threatening me for over half an hour. That was until I knocked him out with a punch right to the jaw. I laughed my ass off and left.
Basically the moral of the story is that there are jerks of all ages and you want to complain about 18yr olds not drinking but thats ok the government shouldn't make any laws retrickting peeps from drinking I mean eighteen is old enough. |

can't vouch for in clubs, but there are a lot of trouble makers here nowadays, it's the general death of society that has raised them tho, their parents dont give a , so from a young age they develop rough ways which they carry on, there's a kid at my cousins school who stabbed about 6 kids with pens just cos they were standing infront of them in the dinner line, and they were all 3 years older than him too. |
Thats sad, i guess im used to a slightly more respectful crowd... im a 1/3 british, but i know zero about british culture.. if u pulled that whereive been clubbing your ass is grass.

it is unfortunate a lot act like jerks, but then you realize a lot of people your own age do it too, adding to the age argument your thinking, theres an age for a reason - i didnt spend my hard earned money to party with my younger brothers freinds.. etc etc etc..
im not saying im exempt from rules, but ive been clubbing since i was 14 and have neevr had a problem with anyone and am usually on a list or invited, or was when i lived in peru, i suggest you go to a club with a better door policy.
i know theres no way i would have been allowed in if i dressed like a slob or acted immature, so yeah, find a new club? |
i think you are right.. maybe the club is the problem. but they have a brilliant soundsystem and awsome lineup week in week out...
i know that the under-agers( you criminal bunch!-joking:) ) here are genuine trance addicts like us old timers(my first clubbing was in 98 and those were wicked times!). and was in no way having a go at genuine fans(old and young) that like to get mashed once in a while.
just these nutcases that target our wicked lifestyle and give us bad names...
its interesting how many people share these views..
**edit** with regards to fighting- this club it the most un violent place in the world! there are hardly any confrontations. this cant be said about many british venues! whats things like in other places around the world? |

does anyone else get annoyed when your havin a wicked night listening to a quality dj and goin mental on the dancefloor and a pissed up/wasted to the max under age kid continually falls into you and your friends all night!!!?
there are so many of these idiots around!
fair enough at the local cattle market where they play 'ja rule' but not at a respected trance night...
it seems that we, as trance lovers are lumbered with the majority of dysfunctional youths(who are there for the drugs and not the music) when we go out to clubs...
what you guys recon on this? |
, you weren't the guy standing behind me for PvD at global gathering this year were you? :nervous: :p
i was pretty malco at that point i'll admit, rather mashed and dancing pretty wildly.. the area of ground i was on had a few small ditches in it, as well as various empty cans & bottles, thus i kept falling back into the guy behind me & promptly apologising. i was definitely there for the music though ;) |

Trance has always been the #1 extasy music, I dont think that will change for a very long time. Alot of the styles that have had surges of popularity since 1999 partially have trance to thank for their succes, since so many people wanted to distance themselves from drugs they switched over to music that was purposely less appealing to ppl who go rolling at parties. Think about it, the new styles are much more appealing to alcohol users than ex users.
I dont think trance music could exist without drugs, it is really sad, but apparently most of the friendly atmosphere and the general kindness among the ppl at these parties appears to be drug induced rather than some special affect that the music has. You are right that the majority of kids who like to get obnoxiosly ed up at parties like to do it to trance music.
I have never seen a "respected trance night" before, all the trance parties I have ever been to were either at somebody's house out in the country, at some really trashy converted warehouse concrete floor type club, or at some really vain and trendy place where everybody acts like they are still in high school.
Funy thing about the huge departure from trance, kids have switched it out for DnB near where I live and now there is a meth problem cuz alot of rednecks like to do meth then flail about to some grimey DnB. I would much rather deal with kids rolling at trance parties then ppl on meth, that stuff seems to be much more dangerous to be around. There aren't very many parties around that dont revolve around one drug or another. |
If you were a superhero, your name would be The Essay Defender.
Anyways, back on the topic. If you have underage kids falling all over you than beat their ass. That is not acceptable no matter how ed up you are and if someone can't hang then they shouldn't be in public. Either beat them mercilessly, or report them to the bouncer. The second is more appropiate I would say. |
