‘Last Minute DJ’s’ is a brand new concept which aims to secure the next generation of DJ’s in night clubs, bars and other functions, helping you make the transition from the bedroom to the main room. Over the past few months, the plans have been put into place and the time has now come to roll it out.
With more and more young people taking to the decks and learning the art of their idols, over the past few years people have been coming round to the idea that the long-term future of the club DJ lies in this undiscovered talent. However the first foot in the doorway is always the hardest step to make and the sole purpose of Last Minute DJ’s is to get this young talent on the move upwards and one step ahead into the music industry by providing opportunities via a practical outlet for their skills.
Instead of you having to search, pester and chase promoters for feedback on your new CD, we will help market your details and effectively bring the promoters to you. We are establishing a full database and directory of as many DJ’s and artists as possible to be made available for bookings ranging from private functions right through up to full scale club level events.
Membership as a DJ has four levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold, and eventually Platinum professional. As a DJ you can choose the level you want to be involved at and the level of detail which is made available about you on your profile.
Any and all styles of music DJ’s are invited to join our database for free and have contact details made available for event promoters who are on the look out for new DJs, as well as people looking for entertainment at privately arranged parties. Once you have signed up we will email you details of how extra features can be added such as pictures and demo recordings to your personal profile on our site; ideal for those who have neither the knowledge, nor the time to setup or administer their own website.
In a nutshell, you send us your DJ profile and we will make it available to the wider industry, as well as sending you invites and receiving free entry into our events and competitions which will be run locally and nationally to ensure all the DJ’s are kept in the spotlight as the emphasis is on the artist and the associated benefits of being part of a unique like-minded community.
Features of the packages that we can offer to you include any contact details of your choice to be made publicly available, a discount card for all participating record shops, equipment stores, selected designer clothing outlets throughout the UK, discounted studio time, discount at our high profile mastering and design studio for your promotional CD’s and other musical/artistic ventures, hosting your own mixes online, the facility to build your own promotional site within the Last Minute DJ’s site plus regular e-flyer updates for competitions and events and the opportunity to win various prizes, studio time and play your own mixes both on internet and local and national FM radio.
