paul fragen was just 17 when he signed his 3rd ever record, 'engery52'. For the teen prodigy, an exploding dj career built on his previous tracks paid for more than a few wild holidays in ibiza. and it was there that the inspiration for trance's biggest anthem came. before sky's ibiza uncovered, cafe del mar was off teh beaten track of san antonio's pub crawls and an in-the-know hangout for ibiza's dance community. and although the energy of paul's track is a little livelier than the music the sunset strip bar's known for, 'energy 52' helped establish an ibiza icon as well spearhead the all consuming trance explosion that was taking over 1997..
