Addiction : Madison ?

addiction : madison
so me and an acquaintence have a very nice....big sound....big venue (+/- 400 people) secured for any date we want....
this would require one hell of a promotional job though....
i was thinking early to mid december....before end of semester rush.
this could be one hell of an event......thoughts anyone? ;)

pff, I'd rather have Rob Thomas play :rolleyes: :D
whats the venue lucas?? i think it could be done, but it would take a TON of work to get that place even half full. expect minimal support from the locals, but you know how that goes :rolleyes: |

yeah, im with tylerc on this one... rob thomas was a way cooler guy, i mean, he was so chill, and he actually KNEW what he was doing..

i don't even know the name of the place yet...i just know it's in middleton.
yeah, i wasn't expecting much help from the locals, but if things look bad, we can always tap into the strategic people reserves.
we can promote the hell out of it on campus and maybe do some nice drink specials to get some of the jaded madisonians out of their bubbles.
i could talk to a few people.... |

Pfffffft.... we can get this thing rockin' man, all we have to do is know far enough ahead of time man, and really just promote the hell out of it all over Wisco... I know kids from Appleton and Point who will DEFINITELY make the trek down to Madison for this, and I still know quite a few kids down there who will make it out...

And yeah, as far as Rob Thomas goes, I guess, you know, me. I'm just going to have to deal with the fact that he's just that much cooler and talented than me... I'm always going to be walking in his shadow... :nervous: |
