I'm looking at getting cubase and I have a few questions:
I currently use reason 2.5, i've been using this for nearly a year, would the transition from reason to cubase be fairly straight forward?
what cubase program should I be getting? i've noticed there is a few versions?
what about vst's? do these come with the program? and also should I just rewire reason to cubase?
cheers! |

Either way would do.
Make cubase as your host sequencer, and rewire reason to intergrate both of them together, making reason the VST.
Yes Cubase does come with their vsti's, but u could always shop around or download free ones fairly easily. |

Speaking of myself as a former reason user i can just say go ahead.
i was using for a year when i started producing, then bought cubase and hooked both up via rewire using cubase as host. then slowly ported all i did in reason to cubase until i never had to use reason again and then sold it :) |
