There is a large Irish construction bussiness here (a lot of Irish workers come here to work). But do not come over unless you actually have a placement. It's quite hard to find one quickly. Ask around in Ireland if any of your friends know anyone working in Canada. You should get hooked up without a problem.
Oh and the working hours for construction are 7 - 3 usually. Probably longer days if the projects need to be done.
If he is working in construction, they usually work in more than one place so living on the subway line is key. |

| also, finding an apartment - same thing, ask around in Ireland first. So many groups of Irish peeps help each other out. |

What is a Chav?
'chav' (slang) - a young person, often without a high level of education, who follows a particular fashion; Chavs usually wear designer labels including the chav favourite 'Burberry', and if they’re girls, very short skirts, large hoop earrings and stilettos.
Chavs see branded baseball caps as a status symbol and wear them at every opportunity. Normally found hanging around shopping centres.
Also known as Townies, Kevs, Hood Rats, Charvers, Steeks, Stigs, Bazzas, Yarcos, Ratboys, Chorer, Skangers, Scutters, Janners, Kappa Slappers, Scallies, and Spides. Also known as Neds in Scotland, knackers & skangers in Ireland, and Guidos in the USA |

| I live in the 'burbz and I'd NEVER take a car to go to work or school. Unless I'm working a midnight shift. Other than that though, I'll take the 15 minute bus ride plus 20-30 minute subway ride. |
