Useless Information....

Some things you may not know:

If you are on wikipedia.org and you hit "Control+x" you get a random article.

There is a pre-defined system for the numbering of highways (national) in the United States. U.S. routes are numbered beginning in the north east corner (low numbers) and ending in the south west corner of the continental US (high numbers). Interstate highways are the opposite. Both types have E-W roads designated with an even number and N-S with an odd number. (yes there are roads that seem to break convention in localities, but the overall direction traveled decides the number).

The term "pornography" is derived from the ancient greek word that is defined as "writing about prostitutes." Thus, technically speaking, the comment "I saw a hooker on 5th avenue" is pornography.

While being considered Australian by many people, both Nicole Kidman and Mel Gibson were born in the United States.

Yes and No. The dispute arose because it was believed that a ducks quack never echoes (Source)

The only way for it to echo is if it has something to bounce off from - it doesn't have an echo by default. To the human ear it may sound like an echo but analyzing the sound waves (in a room that doesn't echo) it clearly shows there is no echo. (As seen on Mythbusters)

Weird, so it doesn't actually have an echo? Is it only a duck? What about canadian geese?
