for me its a toss-up between 'The Oil Zone' and 'Pepper'. what's your favorite? any of his CDs that are 'must haves' beside G-Spot and Ginger?

I'd say A Shocking Hobby ranks up there among his best works ever for sure. A must for the people who starting loving Speedy J cos of Loudboxer and/or Collabs.

As for alltime favourite Speedy J-track, it'd be either Grogono or Pannik (Remix), not taking his other aliases into account.

great thread because i've always wanted to know more about this guy. i don't know much about him, but what i've heard my fav is...

Speedy J - G-Spot (J-Spot Mix)

i know he's got a lot of stuff out there. i'm particularly interested in his work that is a little more cross genre into the stuff that i usually listen to...so i guess a little more tech housey or progressive...any suggestions for those types of tunes that he's done lemme know :)

From what I know, probably Sevntrak; I love its urgency and intensity. But there's a lot of his work I haven't yet heard, particularly his earlier, less abrasive production, which would probably appeal to me more.

I've been meaning to focus on Speedy J's discography for a while now, but kept putting it off in favor of other directions. Thanks for the thread.

yeah see that's exactly where i stand. it's hard to find samples of his early work...and i agree i think that's what will appeal to my tastes more...

For non-Collabs and quite different Speedy J, go for G Spot. Or alternatively, you could check his ambient releases on Fax for something COMPLETELY different from the norm.

Pannik

...as for his new ones.... Speedy J vs Chris Liebing: Collabs 301 - Trezcore!!
