| Jesus Christ.. I laughed my ass off when the dude marked Australia as North Korea and Iran. You know not to sound arrogant and/or offensive but I'm glad that I was raised outside the US. But at the same time it's sad to see the people that live in this country are so ignorant and uneducated. This is ofcourse a wide generalization but it's not THAT far from the truth. |

Sigh.
More proof the American educational system has not taught many the basics of geography.

Look at the map, they had changed the text on the map. When the people searched the map for the country name they were looking for, they found it on Australia.

It would be interesting to see how many tries they made before they found these idiots.
Perhaps we should make a test by ourselves, we all go out in our own contries and ask 20 ppl the same questions and see what they say :p |

The basics of geography should be taught long before high school.
The US school system has turned into a giant Kaplan test preparation operation. Instead of teaching children the processes of learning and the basic knowledge needed to survive, they are preparing them for standardized tests to make sure they keep their funding.
