Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about digital inputs with home theater systems. Mine does have a digital capability, but what do I need to do/what to buy in order to have it hooked up?
Thanks,
Steve
p.s. this is my system

Sorry if I wasn't clear, thanks for responding.
I'm watching Gladiator right now, which has dts capabilities. But whenever I try and switch my reciever to digital to play a dvd in dts, it doesn't play any sound at all.
There is a digital out on my dvd player, and a digital in on my reciever. What kind of wire do I need to connect the two? The digital in on my reciever is not the standard two prong input.
Thanks for any help.

you must have a digital decoder. either on its own, or built into the dvd player or receiver. after that, the easiest/best way is an optical cord.
