hey thats a little harsh, oakey had a few good songs that night. but you couldnt beat avb ending that night with

Departure - Without You Near

"8. Markus Schulz Featuring Departure - Without You Near (Original Mix)"

...no, I guess you can't

and as for Oakey, my main problem with it was following Junkie's everyone off the floor, getting into it like none other, practically in the crowd performance the way he did...set up all the way in back, making a point to just keep looking down with no lighting on him, all to some smooth progressive...sorry, just didn't cut it.

Oakey and Tom should NOT be on the same bill... You've got a musical genius teamed up with a marketing guru with very little real talent. To an avg promoter, its a solid line-up and brings numbers. I personally would not play them in the same room on the same night.

I would team Tom up with Burridge or James Zabiela... Make for a more musical event. No glory hounds or DJs under 5'2'' allowed ;)

I know I might have stepped into a viper pit with that... but, gotta call them like I see them.

That being said, we were working on an Infusion date for Dallas a few weeks ago... However, Seven (the venue we were using) let Sean Sladek go and decided to go hip-hop :(

We were looking at some dates for Austin, but I'm looking for a fresh venue... something more intimate than Element. I'm also taking a hiatus from event for a few months. Expect them w/ in a few months somewhere in Texas.

sorry that is not of much help

Have you thought about the Parish? They had Autechre there in May.

I like Babylon myself, but that would be too small for Infusion. Whatever happened to the places on 7th like velvet? I remember I got to see digweed there a long time ago, but never heard of anyone else playing there after. Texture was also a nice place...to bad that is closed. =/

P.S.I would love to see a Danny Howells/Zabiela night =). Danny hasn't made it back to Austin in a long long time
